TITAN™ Skin Therapy

The new TITAN technology and skin tightening procedure minimizes skin looseness and stimulates long-term collagen rebuilding.

TITAN is the first light-based solution for deep dermal heating, and utilizes infrared light to heat deep dermal tissue while sparing the epidermis through continuous cooling. The result is younger looking and tighter skin.

Before undergoing a surgical facelift or tummy tuck, the TITAN procedure is worth considering for several reasons. The procedure is:

TITAN is also used as a treatment for the loose skin often found on older necks and is very effective for the sagging skin found under upper arms.

How long do the treatments take?
The treatments can take from 20 minutes to an hour – and can be performed during your lunch hour.

How many treatments are required?
Two or three treatments every four weeks may be required.

What areas can be treated?
The TITAN Procedure treats loose and redundant skin throughout the body including the abdomen, thighs, and arms and is also used to tone, lift and tighten skin on the face and neck.

Who is a good candidate for a TITAN procedure?
The best candidates are people in their 40’s and 50’s who are beginning to notice sagging skin, particularly under the chin and abdomen.

What does the procedure accomplish?
The TITAN Procedure utilizes a blended, infrared light source to reverse the signs of aging. TITAN creates significant heating in the dermis, enabling the body to repair the skin. The collagen shrinks due to the applied heat along with the overall structure of the skin. This occurs over time as well.

How does it work?
The infrared light source delivers uniform, even heating to the dermal layer of the skin. Following pre-cooling of the skin, continuous cooling is used to protect it during treatment. The heat profile provides immediate collagen contraction. As heat spreads through the treatment area, post-cooling protects the epidermis.

Is the TITAN procedure painful?
The TITAN is equipped with a skin-cooling system, which allows the continuous direct cooling of the epidermis during treatment to minimize discomfort. Patients may experience a warm sensation. Anesthesia is not required. However, the doctor may recommend a pain killer tablet prior to the procedure.

Is the TITAN procedure safe?
Yes. The TITAN procedure heats the skin while protecting the epidermis.

What are the risks and side effects?
Following the procedure, it is common to see either no reaction, some mild skin irritation, or redness that rapidly resolves. As with any clinical procedure, there may be a small incidence of side effects and minor complications that may occur. These will be explained to you during your consultation.

When will I see results?
Some people see some results immediately. Most people begin to see tightening in the treated area about three weeks following the procedure. Gradual improvement occurs up to six months following the TITAN procedure.

ReFirme™ Skin Therapy

ReFirme™ is a FDA cleared non-invasive skin tightening procedure that enables you to comfortably achieve a more youthful, toned and lifted appearance without enduring downtime. ReFirme can help target telltale signs of aging, including, jowl and neck laxity, sagginess under the eyes, saggy brow lines, and nasolabial folds.

Unlike conventional laser skin tightening treatments that are time and treatment intensive – and often too painful for many patients, ReFirme is a fast, safe and virtually painless treatment for sagging and wrinkled skin.

How does ReFirme Skin Tightening work?
ReFirme™ features a combination of bi-polar radio frequency and light energies to precisely heat the dermal tissue within the targeted treatment area. Unlike conventional lasers and IPL’s, ReFirme uses significantly less optical energy, ensuring safety and a virtually painless procedure.

Precisely heating the dermal tissue within the targeted treatment area stimulates collagen production and produces a firming effect in lax skin. Fine wrinkles are reduced, noticeable lifting can be observed and the texture of your skin becomes smoother, more luminous and toned.

ReFirme is FDA cleared for skin tightening via wrinkle treatment and is designed to be effective on all skin types and skin colors. Treatment uses no drugs and has minimal or no downtime, with patients returning to daily activities following treatment.

How long does it take to see results?
Most patients see gradual and cumulative results throughout the ReFirme treatment regime. The total number of required treatment sessions depends on your skin’s condition.

Does the treatment hurt?
Most patients are comfortable during treatments without any skin numbing, topical anesthetic or analgesia.
